After sitting on my ‘must-have list’ for quite some time it was finally the day to hit Mr. Jeela Chanay Wala. (Jeela Butt)
Location: A little complicated for first timers. Had to ask for directions thrice so have given detail below takay aap ‘direct Jeelay ko wajjen jaa kay’
Food: Outstandingly Delicious. We ordered mutton channay with machli ki boti. 2 persons can easily have one of these but I had my dangarr mode on so had it all alone. (My cheat meal)
Seating: Munasib saaf suthri seating. Didn’t check the family hall so not sure kay khawateen kay liye kya intizaam hai.
Price: Plate (rather dish) with Machli ki boti Rs. 1000. Plate with ‘putthh’ ki boti Rs. 400.
They gave us a discount and charged the machli wali plate @ Rs. 900 and didn’t even charge for the naan.
May be pehlay hee kaafi ‘kamai’ ho chuki thee un ki 🤔
On a serious note, it was worth the effort, time and money. Highly recommended.
Location Details: Amir Road, Shadbagh. Easiest route is from Ring Road. Coming from DHA Phase 5, take the Bhogiwal exit (after Canal and G.T. Road exit) and continue on the service road parallel to the Ring Road. There comes a overhead pedestrian bridge us kay foran baad left is Amir Road. The place is clearly marked on google maps and is less 5 mins drive from Ring Road.
